Assured Equipment Grounding Program

WASHINGTON–The employer must establish and implement an assured equipment grounding conductor program. All cord sets and equip-ment connected by cord and plug that are available for use or used by employees must be in compliance. Cord sets and equip-ment connected by plug and cord must be inspected visually before use each day. The are also required to be grounded and must have a continuity test performed. Employees must not be allowed to use any equipment that has not met the requirements.
